Chirk Castle

We have been to Chirk Castle today. It didn't rain but there was a cold wind, especially when the sun was hidden by a cloud. The castle is just within Wales, but in the past was on the border with Offa's Dyke passing through the grounds. The formal gardens, close to the castle building, have gigantic topiary, yew hedges, so I decided to blip one of these imposing shapes rather than the castle itself or the flower borders.
My knee has been slightly better today without so much pain and discomfort. However, I can only manage to walk slow and slopes are still problematic but it feels more positive.
