Rushing Water

There was plenty of water today in the River Plym. We walked through the woods bordering the river to see the bluebells. They are about two weeks later on the moor than in the valleys lower down. I took this image on the way back to the car. A few minutes later there was a loud clap of thunder and torrential rain and hail. The trees here seemed to me to reflect the restlessness of the river.
