Poolside
Today's blip is a continuation of Saturday's post and is the second of a pair of 35 mm rangefinder cameras I'll be shooting with this summer. The Konica C35 you saw then dates from about the time I graduated college ('70). This, a Petri 7s, was more freshman in high school ('62). A manual rangefinder, as opposed to the fully automatic Konica, it has an ATR (around the ring) selenium cell light meter with both a through the viewfinder display and a match-needle display on the top plate. The last film camera I shot with for a summer film project, a postwar Zeiss slr (vintage Baby Pepper), had a similar system for metering that worked really well. The result this summer, as I mentioned on Saturday, remains to be seen, and you will.
Though I would rather be on the road and headed toward grandkids and hugs as originally planned, it's a nice day in the neighborhood. The beautiful lady you see in the background enjoying a morning swim in our community's pool is the Divine Ms Connie.
the extra is a pic of Stilts the Limpkin. He wasn't hanging around the pond yesterday so we had a bit of a chat this morning. He's getting a bit more blip-wise and asked if I could backblip this pic and include him with his buddies.
Be well Blipfolks. Be kind. Care about each other and enjoy the adventure.
