Camellia decay
Back to the balcony. This was one of the three camellia flowers, and it presented itself in its glorious decay for me to photograph it this morning. No choice of a blip away from the flat. My only trip out was my first trip to the (Council) gym since December, to use the elliptical trainer and lift some weights. It was a good fun way to start the day. But that didn’t involve taking a camera outside, and didn’t exactly see me straying far from home. Luckily there are still a few subjects left on the balcony. Of course, I popped out a few times to see how things were and to tidy up a few bits and pieces.
I ticked a lot of stuff off a rather dismal to do list today, which was good. The one thing I didn’t really make any progress with was doing some photo editing. I’ve promised myself that I’ll get April and almost all of May’s photographs sorted before we go away towards the end of last week, which means a solid couple of evenings of photo editing beckon. It’s not going to happen this evening. I’m feeling too weary and cannot summon the concentration power….
Tempting as it would be to have a really early night, and hunker down with my book, I’ve got a zoom later on with my “other” book group. Meanwhile, L has just sent me a picture of him sitting by the pool in Bermuda. Hmmmm.
