Rhymes with

A mainly dull day with a few quick showers.

This morning I didn't get an answer when I rang my friend, tried again later and her daughter was there, she's ok but had been in hospital overnight. Will chat with her in the morning.  I went to meet friends for a walk and cuppa, did some food shopping on the way home.  Had lunch, did some work in the garden until a shower.  A. popped in to see me and then to see her nan, we did have a hug.  Later I went for a quick walk down the lane. It was a decision between this stick and a brick that was being used to hold down a lid of a compost bin at the allotments. Not really in the mood today and certainly not up to composing a rhyme!
