even without the raindrops although I suppose they enhance the mood, tell the story... wet everything!
It has been a day of heavy showers and sunshine.. warm and cold rather like an April day really.. 
The Blue Tit update.. I have seen 7 hungry mouths.. one is considerably smaller than the others but does get fed when something a little smaller than a whole centipede or caterpillar arrives. It does astonish me that they know what to do.. no eyes yet so imagine just receiving your mouthful and swallowing when it is huge and wriggling. If you don't down it is one mum rescues you.. and removes it offering it to whoever has the guts to swallow :)  She does sometimes look a little concerned that the food might get stuck and is quick to rescue it if it is not suitable. 
Wonderful to see the tenderness from both parents.. the father is less keen to remove the waste however so mum has her work cut out keeping up with it!
