2 Today!

Today is our son's second birthday.  We had such a nice day which started with french toast and fruit for breakfast followed by opening presents.  We gave him an old wind up Fisher Price record player and a play kitchen, which he was very excited to play with.  We had video chats with the grandparents, played on his new bike in the garden and in the afternoon we went to the park and the beach. 

We had spaghetti bolognese for tea (and were delighted when he ate it all) and a cake with candles.  When we asked him what his favourite thing about being two was, he responded "Cake!"
