Woodhead

A walk through a wind tunnel.

It was very windy blowing West to East up Longdendale and chilly.

Good to see a variety of birds but also around 1000 ( thousand) Black-headed gulls nesting on the north side of Woodhead Reservoir - Extra photo shows a small section.

The highlight was when we were almost back to the car, a Cuckoo seen but not heard, the opposite of normal.
