Unlocking Loughborough
Torrential rain hit us this morning. Len asked where we could go walking that wasn't muddy. I suggested Queens Park in Loughborough, so that was where we headed.
In contrast to the morning, the afternoon was bright and sunny and felt pleasantly warm in the sun.
After we ambled round the park, which is full of colour, we walked to the market place. Aziz was busy so we crossed the square and enjoyed a latte each at Café Nero. Then we went back to Aziz and had a chat. He looked very relaxed after his long lay-off and Ramadan into the bargain.
Loughborough wasn't crowded. It seemed like mostly students who were out and about.
