Horizontal Spellings

Charlie’s mam and dad are working late so I got the job of the spelling section of the homework. Of all the words to try spell Rhythm and Rhyme are on the list. They are up there in the word list I can never spell and never will be able to. I don’t mind them but some of the easy words like address, which I can never remember if there are one d or two dds really knock me off because I should know them. Now with Word Processers, you get the words changed for you which is not really a good thing because you never get to correct your mistakes yourself.

Because of the pandemic, they last year they had to get the teachers to grade out the exams personally which they never did before. Usually when the students are sitting the final exams, they get a number so whoever corrects them does not know them from Adam (as the saying goes). They are doing a bit of a mixture of it this year between.  Students will have the option of accredited grades or exams or both. This is what happens when the teachers give the grades themselves.
