ANGUS

Angus is sitting patiently after our walk,
as I feed the gold fish in our fountain.
Today he is the picture of calm, but if
anyone walked by he would off like a rocket, to defend his home.

As he gets older, he is stoic but ready for any adventure. Even now, he is unreliable
with other dogs, so we keep our distance.
We cross the street if anyone approaches with a dog.

Angus is full of contradictions but
a wonderful companion.
