Promise of spring

Well it's jolly cold today, we even had a dusting of snow (almost unheard of down here, it's too mild for snow most of the time) the tiny dusting did melt as soon as the sun came out bit it's still flippin chilly.

I had some daffs for Mother's Day in bud and most of them are now in bloom or like this little chap ready to burst, offering I like to think a promise of warmer, springlike weather around the corner, fingers crossed. xx
