New knitting project

I like to have some knitting on the go, something I can easily pick up and put down. I've chosen to knit chunky cardigans for the grandchildren and this is the first one started. I'm struggling to use these plastic needles so I've ordered some Knitpro in the right size. I have lots of smaller sizes but none this large. They have arrived at Charlotte's so I will be able to swap and get lots done hopefully while I am there.
The train journey was in itself relaxing and uneventful but I hadn't realised that the wheel on my suitcase was damaged until it was too late and I was on my way! It felt like I was lugging a ton weight around but luckily Phil came to the rescue at the end of the journey! This evening I have hastily ordered a new one for my return journey!
It is lovely to see them again and we had a lovely evening catching up and enjoying a vegetarian lasagne and home made cake.
A new week begins!
