Hoxton Mini Press

The photo society is looking forward this evening to a presentation by the publisher of the Hoxton Mini Press photo books. I love them and they make affordable and charming gifts to photographers. I particularly like the editions about east London and the Lea Valley. A lot of them have an ethereal, slightly washed out and desaturated look.

I did a whizz down to Walthamstow Wetlands at lunchtime and thought I would have a try. This gent taking a break on a bench in the sun seemed to fit the mood.

Racing back to beat the incoming hailstorm, except it diverted as it approached and so the trays of bedding plants in the garden were spared.
