Laburnum

Next door's and behind the raindrops.  I usually blip their huge and beautiful Lilac tree which sadly isn't quite as beautiful this year, but still huge.

Got 'Matilda' packed up between the humongous cloudbursts.  I don 't hold out much joy for a rain-free 9 days in the Lake District - but we'll make the most of the change of scene.

Some good news:  Our friends who came to view properties in our town last week and fell in love with one have just heard that their offer has been accepted, they are so excited but aren't celebrating quite yet as they know there's 'many a slip 'twixt cup and lip'.
