Oh No!!

With the best will in the World life on Planet Isolation is not as active as life on Earth Prime! So this morning I found myself wide awake at 5 AM! I stayed in bed for another half an hour then decided to get up and exercise before Bri got up.

I'd meant to do another test last night but forgot so I decided to do it this morning so it could develop while I exercised. I set my Yoga mat up and Minstrel wanted feeding too of course. As I was ready to start I glanced at the test which had had 10 minutes of its allotted 30, and already there were two definite purple lines! No doubt - I have got Covid too!

I did wonder, but having only had negative results before I thought the symptoms I had were more consistent with a head cold anyway. But No! And whether it's psychosomatic or not, I have felt rougher as the day has gone on.

Anyway, I woke Brian up just before 7 AM in the end and told him to get up and do a test too so that we did not have to start the 10-day count once more for him further down the line. He also turned out to have it! Zeph fortunately remains negative. So he's fending for himself and I'm wearing gloves and wiping everything in the kitchen when I cook for Grace. I've gone off my food a bit - things taste weird!!

Another mystery solved. The reason for all the cat action around our and next door's yards is because the little black and white one is a female in heat and that is why she was performing on the roof for the boys! We think the big panther with the red collar won her...errr... paw! If so they will produce lovely kittens. Though I think cats can have kittens to more than one dad per litter, so maybe Ginger might get a look-in too - also cute!
