Heron on Linlithgow Loch.

This afternoon’s adventure was at Linlithgow Loch. While we did spot a grebe, there is still no sign of any young ones. However, this young heron was fishing close in to the edge and was not put off by all the strollers. 
We were also pleased to see a swan family (extra shot) with seven little cygnets. 
Back home and we had to dive into the house sharpish to avoid a soaking when the heavens just opened! Well, I suppose the gardens needed it.
