Feeling blue!

Just the garden, though, I’m fine!

Last year I tried to create a wildflower bed by copying what happens in the ‘wild’ and just scattered a few packets of seeds, leaving nature to take its course and do the rest.

All I was left with was a big patch of long grass so I dug it all out, grew several trays of flowers in the greenhouse and put them out after a few weeks, eagerly expecting it to be a veritable horticultural rainbow by now.

All that’s flowered so far are the forget-me-nots and bluebells my neighbour gave me but it’s still a lot better than it was before, if very blue!
