I think that this is the first decent shot I've taken of dragonflies mating. Usually they're flying erratically but these two Slaty Skimmers Libellula incesta (now that's a rather appropriate name!) were kind enough, or just exhausted enough to settle for a couple of blinks. I dropped the Big White Dog off at Doggie Day Care and spend a couple of hours at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. Check the *extra 'collage' for...a couple of shots of a Southern Cricket Frog (I think), an Eastern Forktail Dameselfly and a Silver-spotted Skipper. Whew, it was an intense couple of hours! :)
