Royal Navy Patrol Vessel HMS Tamar on the River Tamar in Plymouth today. Despite its name, the vessel's home port is Portsmouth and not Plymouth. In the background are Torpoint and the Torpoint Ferry, and the fields of the Mount Edgecumbe estate.
