Opening up
Today it has again been a day of sun but frequent showers.
However, it has proved a memorable day for us as it was our first "live" ukulele class since last year. Twenty of us and our teacher met in a community centre and played and sang - it was great!
This evening we attended the AGM of our local conservation group. It was held in our wildlife area, to be precise, in the hazel tunnel ,to keep dry from the rain! The Parish Council is arranging a Green Picnic in July, where all the local environmental groups can get together, share ideas, and recruit more residents to help care for our wildlife. It all sounds very exciting.
The photo is of Bird's Foot Trefoil flowers, also opening up, which I found in my lawn today. We are doing no- mow- May, to see what wild flowers appear.
