Enticement

Application packs for our Cambridge-based roles usually extol the virtues of living in the city. Therefore the joke in the office today, to inspire more people to start coming in, was to post images of ourselves gambolling with ice creams in front of King’s College, or concentrating intently on complex but fulfilling workplace dilemmas in a gleaming meeting room. We might post photos on Yammer to show colleagues what they’re missing.

Certainly a very Cambridge-esque activity is drinking a lemon and kumquat cider, which I did in the evening. Now we are permitted to re-enter people’s homes (hurrah!) I went and ate pizza with Berry and Helen. Let’s hope variants and waves don’t play havoc with the nicely relaxed restrictions.
