Fence

I took a break from work to get a photo from the garden, and found a neighbour trying to do something with our back fence that has been sagging increasingly onto his driveway over the past few years. I'd accelerated the process by trying to clear (his) ivy from it earlier in the year, only to discover that the ivy was both holding the fence together and causing it to collapse. We chatted amiably about the issue as we pulled the fence and posts apart with almost no effort! I left him to clear as much as he wanted to, even if it does leave me with a gap in the back fence. It looks as if I'll finally have to get around to doing something about the whole fence!
