Mouths to Feed

Another day of crazy mixed up weather. We had 30 mins in the garden at lunchtime for a sandwich but by mid afternoon a massive rainstorm including a few minutes of hail! Back to sunshine this evening as we pottered about and Annie did some planting after the working day. 

It is the starling kids season, we've noticed a few in the last week and today they were braving it out as far as the bird table although not always to feed themselves! It was as noisy as the photo suggests.
