Graupel

No I haven't been to the beach (we are one of the furthest places from the sea in the UK!) This is my little collection of bits and bobs in the garden covered in graupel. These are ice covered balls of snow. We've had some very heavy showers of them today. Here is another pic of it.

I had loads to choose from today. This afternoon there was a road traffic accident at the bottom of our hill. We had a good view from here. Apart from at least three police cars only a paramedic was needed so I'm hoping nobody was seriously hurt. The poor little red car is still sitting there though. Hope they take it away soon, or it will be in an even worse state by morning.
