Emotional return to the Getty Center in Los Angeles, CA. I have worked there as a site docent giving architecture and garden tours for 11 years. We hadn't been there since the pandemic started a year and two months ago. This week docents and volunteers were invited with timed-entry tickets before they open next week to the public. We felt very welcome and everything looked beautiful and pristine. What a nice feeling of openness this place offers.
