Learning the road rules...

I was entranced as this scene played out before me. A group of adult geese and young goslings on one side of the road needing to cross to the other walked along to the pedestrian crossing to cross over, one adult in front, one half way along and another bringing up the rear. The one bringing up the rear, stepped out and then turned to see if there were any left behind - yes, one was still nibbling at sweet grass - a quick honk and the little bird rushed to take his place and they all crossed on the pedestrian crossing whilst cars waited patiently for them.
It was raining and l had my telephoto lens on so was not able to get the whole scene.
For people of a certain era does it remind you of the Beatles Abbey Road album cover?

On an entirely different note we went with friends out to a restaurant last night for a meal INSIDE, it seemed slightly surreal but was an enjoyable experience, one more step on the road to recovery.
