The wisteria is now thriving

After all the recent rain and cool temperatures I'm surprised to see the wisteria is now thriving. Earlier in the dry springtime the early shoots and buds were looking somewhat shrivelled and I thought the plant and its flowers might suffer. But all now seems well.

I planted it just below the lower part of the cabin after we'd had it built about twelve years ago. It looks lovely when sitting inside and looking out across the valley with the wisteria framing the windows.
