Whirlow Woods
Val (old friend) and I dodged the forecast chilly rain this morning, with an early woodland walk. These beech trees were looking lovely, the leaves still light and delicate.
Then this afternoon, Richard and I popped in on a ceramics exhibition done by a Danish friend, Hanne Westergaard. Entitled 'Urban Joy', this was originally designed to coincide with her 80th birthday, though Covid eventually delayed its launch.
Hanne's recent work includes enormous seed pod shapes, as well as a set of 3 lifesize ravens and some delicately coloured feathers. I'll put in a link when I'm back on the laptop.
Thanks to everyone who left comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's birds.
