The May blossom is out

I haven't "cast a clout" though ..... been rather too wet & chilly for that! It doesn't feel much like 'May' at all!

(For those non UK or who haven't heard the rhyme "Ne'er cast a clout till May is out" ..... it means not to go out without a coat until the Hawthorn (May) blossom is out .... according to the myth! Though some say it actually means the month of May!)

We managed an early evening walk .... just half an hour ..... the Hawthorn blossom looked lovely in the late sunshine .... hope you like it :-)

Extra is Mr Blackbird with a very full beak!

Hubby had his physio appointment this morning & has made such good progress that he has been discharged (or as he put it "dismissed") ..... just got to keep up with the exercises ..... great news!
