Stumped

Close to our house is a small strip of mature woodland which effectively hides all of the houses on the development from the nearby road.  Under the terms of our purchase we pay an annual fee to cover the maintenance of all the common ‘green areas’ which includes the strip of woodland.  The builders have built a walkway through the wood which is a good way to walk to the paper shop and keep away from the road for part of the route.  They only finished the first part of it last week so this morning I had a walk along it.  These stumps are presumably left over from clearing a few trees to install the path; I don’t think they are intended as a mini stumpery.

Back is improving but still a bit sore.  Hopefully it will be fine by the weekend.
