From #31 bus

Biked and swam in the morning and got fed up with the chatterers, again.

Then quick turnaround and out on the bus to le coiffeur. The work on the repair of N Bridge is going on apace and it was a good view across to St Andrew's House and Calton Hill.

90 minutes later I emerged from J's all talked and discovered the weather had changed, cold and wet.

Spent some time being amazed I Lakeland before meeting A in the Scottish Cafe. So lovely to meet in person after 17 months of virtual.

Home in time to go next door to Y's for coffee. What a social day! We ended discussing the Vietnam War and the Gaza situation. However, staying for nearly 3 hours meant I missed a prearranged phone call.

The high winds today haven't been good for the cherry. The lawn is covered in leaves but summer power washing has been done.

Finished the day by doing a vacuum cleaner swap between the Manors and discussing boiler issues with 'E upstairs'. Now watching latest French 'Walter presents' with them off 'Engrenages'. Why does France have so few male actors?
