Coltsfoot seedhead
Thursday morning walk at the reservoir, cold and windy but managed to get back to the car just before the rain came. Noticed some lovely fluffy seed heads at the side of the path but didn’t know what they were until I got home and checked. Identified as Coltsfoot, it has yellow flowers from March to April similar in colour to a dandelion and has long been used as a herbal medicine for coughs and colds.
