Good timing

I was in the horological workshop of my good friend David today.  So many clocks and some very nice watches too. We put my own (mechanical) watch on the electronic timer and it measured as accurate to within one second a day.  Not bad for  load of spindles, cogs and springs. The timing of today's announcements on travel regulations were auspicious too and it looks as if we can definitely get over to France next Tuesday.
