What a horrid day, strong winds and showers. We are heading towards midsummer’s day in about 4 weeks’ time so I hope it cheers up very soon. No inspiration for a photo today but I have watched an interesting talk on geum flowers this evening. There was also a discussion about peat free composts. Peat compost is going to be phased out in 4 years’ time I think it is and the quality of replacement peat free composts are not brilliant on the whole. The best ones are expensive and in short supply. Wool based compost is an option and that would be a good outlet for wool which has little value at present.
