Moving day

Today we moved to our new house! What a hectic day it was. I went to the new house early, to let the movers in who had the container with our stuff that had been in storage for one and a half years. It was an odd mixture of excitement and fright, because it was great seeing all our things again but it was so much more stuff than I remembered and anticipated.

Around lunchtime, the van drove off to our temporary house to fetch the rest of our stuff, which turned out to be another full container. By the time the movers left, we were all exhausted. We did unpack some of the necessities, but left the rest for another day.
