A stormy day

After a quick shopping trip it was a day for sheltering inside.
I made a frangipani for tomorrow, and did a little patchwork.
Then Pepper pointed out that the rain had abated and couldn’t we go out? So we walked down to the pond, but it was really wild in the wind. The swallows were feeding just above ground level, always a bad sign.
But we had meringue raspberries and cream for pudding!
