Let it snow....

Little Guernsey has been under a thick blanket of snow for most of the day. This was taken and hour and a half ago and already its got thicker. Probably a good 6 inches 9 inches I've just been told and in some places up to 2ft has fallen with more forecast ffor tonight. The wind has been force 8/9 and trees have come down in at least 4 areas! One on a car but no one injured thankfully. It's lovely to see but on a hilly island everything comes to a halt. All schools closed at lunchtime as did many other establishments. Best viewed large!
