Adventure

Decided to stay at home for work today as I had pretty much back to back meetings throughout, and although it was warm and sunny when I nipped out first thing to get milk the day deteriorated towards heavy rain in the early afternoon. Enjoyed a presentation about the interior design plans for EFI...the colours have been chosen to reflect the colours of the city (north side) and the Meadows and old loch that used to be there on the south (extra). Gave V a lift home so I can use the car all weekend and to spare her walking on her sore foot but really bad traffic both there and back...just made it in time for my last meeting.
Picked up S from the station and we headed to Aurora in Leith for an early supper. Delicious, and so exciting to be inside in a real restaurant! This was the soup - like all the courses it was beautifully presented, with unusual flavours (this had beer, cheese, yeast and shallots!) but which all went really well together. We chatted on about all sorts and am looking forward to the weekend despite the weather - we have several other eating adventures lined up!
