Rained Off

Did my meet and greet role at the charity garden where l volunteer.
The relentless rain had obviously put off a lot of expected visitors from actually turning up.
The garden allows twenty people per half hour to allow social distancing throughout each visit.
Today l think l welcomed about twenty people all afternoon.
Quite a few people came just for the cafe or plant sales.
Always interesting to see what they have chosen.
The rain never stopped all afternoon but it was less heavy at times.
One good thing about the rain was how it brought out the patina in the York Stone and cobbles.
