Drumderfit hill - Black Isle
A smaller cousin hill to the nearby Ord Hill, both scraped out of the sandstone conglomerate bedrock by the last of the glaciers. Both hills also have iron-age 'duns' at their tops and remains of ancient habitations and field systems.
Drumderfit has a lovely view over Munlochy bay and a pleasant circuit path in the mature plantation. Especially fitting for the current spell of rainy weather.
