A windy walk
Back blipped Saturday morning (again)
Quite wild and windy this morning but a refreshing early morning walk on the beach set me up for the day.
Breakfast over, I tidied the inside of the van a bit in preparation for leaving on Saturday. Mr PHL rearranged things in the lockers and we got to grips with taking the awning down. It had been windy enough to pull out some of the pegs so not too much bending required.
After lunch we headed to Loch Morar for a walk in the hope it would be a little less windy and it was very pleasant. The loch itself is more than 12 miles round but we didn’t go very far - perhaps a couple of miles. I liked this blip looking back across to Eigg and Rum.
Back to the van to prepare our final dinner together - smoked salmon blinis followed by steak (cooked on the BBQ) with fried onions, courgettes and baked potato. Very tasty.
We then sat and played music via Spotify until the wee small hours before retiring to bed. Well we’d drunk all the wine by then anyway!
