All Change

For eight weeks Flushing & Mylor Gig Club have been lending EPIC GIGability their gigs so we could row. Traditionally gig clubs train on a Tuesday and Thursday so to fit in with them we have rowed on a Wednesday.
This evening was our last Wednesday row, we move to Ponsharden and our own gig(s), one GRP one on loan from the CPGA and our brand spanking new wooden one, due to launch on 24 June and will train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings like everyone else.
So this evening it was a ninety minute row with few breaks which left me a bit tired and sore bit I still enjoyed it.
It was also my first night back at the Athenaeum Club.
After fish & chips with Mrs S it was time for a shower, walk down to the club and a couple of hours catching up with old friends over a couple of pints.
Enjoyable.
