Cold

Cold - 4 degrees C when I left early doors this morning & then it started to rain...deep joy :) So I did a bit of shopping at the farm shop and the market and went home. It stopped raining so I tried again - still cold. My walk was good & I watched this jay raiding the nest of a blackbird. It systematically removed the moss that was hiding their chick...it then got the chick and went off with it. Fascinating to watch & it was being harassed by the blackbird parents. Nature in all it's gory glory. Still cold!
