Welsh Poppy

These Welsh Poppies have self-seeded in the gravel in the front garden. A splash of orange against the bluebells behind.
Dull and grey this morning and feeling very cold. My knee was very painful so I managed to do very little other than catch up on some administrative tasks. This afternoon I have managed a couple of hours outside, staking and tying up the tomatoes and pinching out the side shoots. Also planted a second sowing of peas and sugar peas into pots that should keep a supply coming into August.
