Very worn stone steps

These old stone steps are behind the bottom flower bed in the Pollok Park walled garden.
They lead up to some old, rather dilapidated sheds which belong to the gardening staff and it used to be a great area for bird watching in the late autumn and winter.
Sadly, the bird feeders have remained empty for a while but the birds don’t go hungry as there are a number of folk who regularly leave seeds on walls and fence posts.

It was a great morning for a walk ..... this time next week I hope to be through in Fife enjoying a walk on the beach.
