Finishing touches

During the year, I save any hair from cat grooming and hair brushes and put it in a wire cage in the spring and hang it from a tree.  Blue tits are the only birds that ever help themselves to it and I missed them all in April when they were nest building. Most of them have already raised a brood, so I was surprised to see this one pulling hair from the cage today. Obviously late to the raising a family party, she was back and forth several times to collect the finishing touches to make her nest warm and soft.
