‘Howzat?’

We do play cricket in Scotland, and in fact with 17,000 grassroots players, it’s second only to football and ahead of rugby, as the most widely played sport here - despite the weather!

The Scottish cricket team even beat England a few years ago!

There were two separate matches going on in the park today, and we stopped by briefly to have a look at one of them. Not sure there were quite the right numbers on the field, but the standard of bowling, batting and fielding looked pretty good to me!

Before we left, got this shot of the batsman getting clean bowled though,  bails flying!
