Only a Mother Could Love This Face

We have had several visitors to the island, the geese and goslings, the ruby throated hummingbirds, the beaver, the pileated woodpecker the mergansers, etc, and this little toad.    He sat beside the planter for a very long time and didn't move a muscle when I was taking the photos of him.  He didn't even move when the chipmunks were running and playing very near to him either.   He could easily be mistaken for a stone.
The extra shows the toad from a different angle and makes him look much more recognizable.
