RAT ISLAND

Today being "Derelict Sunday" one has to put their thinkers on and find an appropriate subject- Today I've included the old bridge piles to the "Rat Island" which was where the Pleasant Point Yacht club was situated before it was demolished 11 years ago by the Christchurch Earthquakes. The Yacht club had to be accessed by crossing this bridge... These piles are certainly derelict now and no doubt will be left to rot away..
